United States. Schneider Electric announced that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama, has awarded it an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with an estimated $2.5 billion capacity shared among all awardees.
Schneider Electric is one of the 13 companies in this contract. The utility monitoring and control system employment contract will provide the engineering and services necessary for the acquisition of new and/or upgraded digital control systems, HVAC systems, other automated control and data acquisition systems, or other supervisory controls at government facilities worldwide.
Schneider Electric can address all aspects of construction-related requirements, from planning and design to implementation, commissioning and maintenance services, for a total integrated solution. Areas of expertise include building controls, security, measurement, fire safety, and analytics technologies to improve the performance, efficiency, safety, and reliability of federal facilities.
