International. Refrigerant supplier A-Gas announced that it has combined its businesses in the U.S. and Mexico for the formation of A-Gas Americas. The formation of this company involves the merger of A-Gas Performance Chemicals with the US firms Coolgas and RemTec, and its Mexican agent Comercializadora Industrial JFD.
The new company will operate from the companies' existing locations within the group and is designed to give customers greater access to technical expertise, industry knowledge and know-how within the group.
Explaining that existing customers would continue to negotiate with the same sales staff, A-Gas US Holdings President Ken Logan added: "By bringing the four businesses together into one recognizable brand we will be able to offer customers all the benefits associated with the A-Gas Group globally, but under one roof."
Coolgas and RemTec were acquired by A-Gas International in 2012.
