International. International companies Halton Group and Dinair Group, based in Sweden, have confirmed the signing of an agreement on all shares of Halton Clean Air Oy to be sold to Dinair Group on January 27, 2015.
Halton Clean Air manufactures and supplies filters for ventilation systems. In 2014 its net sales were approximately 8 million euros. The company employs 40 people and has a new factory in Kausala, Iitti, which was opened in 2013. The company announced that it will continue its operations with the same organization and the same name.
Halton Group will continue to focus on customer-demanded segments and their future development. These segments include hospitals, laboratories and high-end offices. In these the focus is more on total solutions rather than individual ventilation products.
Dinair Group Chairman of the Board, Jerker Adeberg, commented: "We at Dinair see the acquisition of Halton Clean Air Oy as a continuation of our strategy of being a strong player in the Nordic ventilation filter market. Our ambition is to support our customers in the Scandinavian and Nordic markets with indoor, outdoor and OEM filter products. Halton is a major player in the Finnish market with products and technology that fits our portfolio and ambition as a strategic supplier to our customers."
