International. Mitsubishi Electric's Variable Refrigerant Flow zoning systems were recognized as the best product in the HVAC/IAQ/Building Controls category by the U.S. Green Building Council (Usgbc) during the first of its Best of Building Awards.
These awards recognize the best green products, projects, organizations and individuals during the year that made a significant impact on green building.
The nominees and winners were selected exclusively by members of the Usgbc, a vibrant and diverse community of the world's leading organizations that invested the most in sustainability and which has some 13,000 USGBC member organizations.
It should be noted that Ashrae was also recognized as the Best Professional Association, while on behalf of Latin America, Guatemala received the recognition as Best Regional Project to Studio Domus.
