Venezuela. The town of El Tigre, located in the south of the South American country, is in a notable emergency due to the shortage of refrigerant gas used to load air conditioning equipment and other refrigeration systems.
According to information from the newspaper El Tiempo de Venezuela, the companies of the guild are feeling this phenomenon since last March. As in the case of Refrigeraciones Iceberg, who through its administrator, Rexaira Rondón, indicated that "In the week they send me a single bottle of 56 kilos when before they left me the amount I requested".
This problem has also meant an increase in the prices of the input, which has doubled. Additionally, other companies denounce the lack of other parts such as rollers, compressors, filters and capillaries.
According to the local media, currently the value for cleaning and full loading of refrigerant gas in air conditioning equipment has increased almost 100%.
