International. The Danfoss company received the 2013 Dealer Design Award gold medal for the WVFX water valve.
According to the company, the valve is gaining market share in North America, particularly among ice machine manufacturers, so they decided to design a version for the US market.
"We are very proud, not only because we are receiving recognition (given by Achr News) from the industry for a well-designed product, but because product management and sales have worked perfectly together on this project," said Nicholas Morosoff, Danfoss' U.S. representative.
The WVFX water valve is general-purpose, designed for contractors with features including a command for easy adjustment, a printed scale for repeatability in facilities, and a control element designed to minimize loss and maximize product life.
