Peru. The energy efficiency solutions company for buildings, Johnson Controls, recently opened its new headquarters in the city of Lima, which complies with environmental standards and promotes the principles of sustainable construction.
The event was attended by its main managers among them; Clay Nesler, Vice President of Energy and Sustainability, Johnson Controls Inc; Gary Brimmage (center), vice president and general manager of Johnson Controls Building Efficiency Latin America (right), and Joao Violante, vice president and general manager of Johnson Controls Building Efficiency of Central America. In addition, the company's current collaborators and customers participated.
Johnson Controls hopes to massify sustainable construction in local buildings in Peru, as it does in the United States, where the corporate headquarters located in Glendale, Wisconsin, was awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council by granting it LEED Platinum certification. The results were a 77% reduction in water consumption and a 21% reduction in energy consumption for this campus.
"The economic growth that Peru has had is an opportunity for us to bet on the Peruvian market with the implementation of solutions that help our clients increase the energy efficiency of their offices contributing to a more sustainable world," said Gary Brimmage.
