Colombia. During the last CIAR meeting held in Cartagena, Luvata, the coatings company for the control of corrosion in HVAC / R equipment, told us about the new partnership it has with a Colombian firm called Karelia, for the distribution of its products in that territory.
José Mayaudon, director of international business development at Luvata, commented that "the HVAC industry was orphaned by a company that was dedicated exclusively to corrosion protection, now Luvata has found that support in Karelia, which is dedicated exclusively to anticorrosive treatment and maintenance; this gives us the opportunity for Luvata to present itself to all its clientele through a neutral company that does not interfere with the activities of our common customers."
For his part, Mario Mendigaña, commercial director of Karelia, said: "For us it is something very interesting so we can provide a great service and be authorized representatives, it is important to have the support of Luvata to reach customers." Mario added that "the expectation is to reach an interesting market in Colombia and thus be able to reach all corners where they need our services."
Finally, Jose Mayaudon explained that the agreement was discussed for about a year, and that this society has been working for two months in Colombia.
