Peru. A total of 500,000 solar panels will be installed in rural or remote areas of the South American nation in order to give a greater scope in the supply of energy for the populations of these sectors.
The project is scheduled to be completed until 2016. As revealed by the Deputy Minister of Energy, Edwin Quintanilla, in statements published by América Economía, it is expected to exceed 90% in the national electrification coefficient, which is currently 86%.
With this measure, companies in our HVAC/R industry will have the possibility to reach distant places, thanks to the improvement in the electrical conditions necessary for the operation of the equipment.
