International. Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating announced updates to its Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) zoning units belonging to the S-Series systems for cooling and heating.
The residential and commercial space line now features operational capabilities of up to -4 degrees Fahrenheit, a line length extended to 492 feet, efficiency enhancement to 16.7 SEER, the ability to connect up to 12 indoor units and is compatible with all Mitsubishi Electric indoor units.
"This series extends the benefits of this technology for low- and mid-rise commercial buildings and for large homes. Homeowners and small businesses will appreciate the smart zoning options and increased flexibility offered by VRF zoning technology," said Michelle Robb, senior director of product marketing for the Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating division.
