Latin America. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced that starting this month the LEED Green Associate exam will be available in Spanish, due to the large number of Spanish-speaking countries that are part of the sustainable construction market.
And as stated by Scot Horst, SENIOR LEED Vice President of USGBC, the professional green buildings section globally continues to grow in harmony with its portfolio of LEED projects.
The increase in green building professionals will contribute to job creation, a skilled workforce and a prominent section of people who are equipped to lead the job market.
This credential, LEED Green Associate, was developed for those with solid knowledge around green buildings and who could be involved in building design, construction, maintenance or operation.
