United Arab Emirates. Emerson will invest $33 million in the expansion of its Middle East and Africa headquarters in Dubai. With the new distribution and testing facilities, meeting areas and offices, the expanded headquarters campus will allow it to closely support its customers in the region.
The new facilities will cover an area of 13,000 m2 of space for development, increasing its current stadium and being available by the end of 2013. The expansion will allow Emerson to consolidate its air conditioning and refrigeration business.
The multinational company has had these facilities since January 2009, where it participates through its emerson climate technologies, Emerson Network Power and Emerson Process Management areas, with which it recorded sales of US$1.2 billion in 2011.
