Mexico. The Bajio region, made up of the states of Querétaro, Guanajuato, Jalisco and Aguscalientes, is reporting annual figures for the sale of air conditioning and refrigeration systems of around 45% per year.
Ashrae sources indicate that Mexico, in terms of manufacturing, sale, installation and maintenance of this equipment, registers growth figures ranging between 20% and 25%.
Bajio's growth doubles this previous figure due to the arrival of investors from sectors such as automotive, aerospace and the construction of tall and closed buildings that need air conditioning.
Ashrae also stressed that other regions such as Monterrey, Mexico City and Cancun will present good figures due to the construction of large office complexes and hotels that need air conditioning.
