United States. The month of May marked the highest sales growth for Hardi (International Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors) members since November 2010, reporting an increase of 17.9%.
Sales rose in all seven regions of the United States, of which six posted double-digit growth. These sales will also benefit dealers of components for repair.
"May was particularly a strong month. 84% of members reported positive results on May 12 vs. May 11, suggesting that the recovery of distributors is spreading. The timing of the business cycle is positive at this point," said Andrew Duguay, an economist at Hardi.
