Holland. Thermaflex and ROC Waalwijk of the Netherlands signed an agreement in which the first company will solve the issue of transporting its products between Waalwijk and the port of Rotterdam, two regions of that nation, through sea containers.
Due to increased demand for Thermaflex's pre-insulated and thermal insulation flexible pipes for South America and China, the company will now reduce the previously deployed truck ground transportation from 200 to 300 trips.
Patrick Spijkers, General Manager of Thermaflex Aislante said: "The result of this agreement is that from our warehouse in Waalwijk more and more piping systems and fittings are loaded into containers for export to these rapidly growing markets. Sustainability has a high priority at Thermaflex and that is why we seek an efficient way and an alternative transport greenway. ROC, which is located just 250 meters from our company had the best credentials."
