USA. USA Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp., has appointed Robert (Bob) J. McDonough as president of its residential and commercial lighting systems (RLCS) division. McDonough, who will replace Halsey Cook, will live in Farmington, Connecticut, and will report directly from his position to Geraud Darnis, President of Carrier.
"Bob has a wealth of experience and a successful career at our company. I have no doubt that he will take our business to a high level of excellence," Darnis said.
McDonough, has 26 years of experience in sales and marketing; In addition, he joined Carrier last July, as president of distribution and marketing. Prior to joining Carrier, McDonough spent 16 years with Lennox International, where he was president and COO of the global Heating and Cooling line, prior to that he was president of refrigeration and international operations.
