[Colombia] Carmelo Minervine y Compañía Ltda., as distributor representative of the firm Sporlan of the United States for Colombia, held seminars last June in the main cities of the Andean country on the new technologies that the North American company is developing.
With four- and five-hour events, the seminars were a success as they allowed him to introduce the idea that Sporlan presents itself as a novel alternative to the refrigeration and air conditioning market, and engineers are offered a lot of reliability in such systems. Among the topics covered were expansion valves, selenoid valves, filter dryers for liquid and suction lines and cleaning of refrigeration systems when compressors are burned.
The attendance was approximately 50 and 60 professionals in total in Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla and Cali, including engineers, technicians and plant managers. This type of technology, friendly to the environment and the processes taught, do not require the use of any substance to clean the systems, but through filters and operations in general. The idea is to continue communicating through the seminars new technologies of other more developed countries and put them at the service of the technical staff of Colombia.
