Colombia. Cristina Gamboa, executive director of the Colombian Council of Sustainable Construction, (Cccs), will integrate, as of July 1, the Board of Directors of the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) for a (renewable) term of two years.
The board is made up of representatives of the sustainable construction councils full members of the WorldGBC such as Colombia, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States, Hong Kong, Jordan, United Kingdom, Singapore and South Africa.
"I believe in partnerships, and ColombiaGBC's partnership with WorldGBC has allowed our organization to succeed faster than we expected. I am excited to have the opportunity to contribute my ideas to help other GBC members and take WorldGBC to its next stage of development," said Cristina.
Cristina has been an advocate of green building, with extensive experience in applied economic research and international relations, she is Executive Director of ColombiaGBC since 2009.
