Through 24 conferences, mechanical engineers, CVAC/R contractors, equipment manufacturers, end users, consultants, builders and architects, as well as students, will analyze and learn about the factors that improve the cold chain in terms of sustainability and efficiency.
On Thursday, July 15, the academic day will begin in the commercial refrigeration room with the talk "How to obtain superior energy efficiency in your refrigeration systems for supermarkets?", which will be given by Giovanni Barletta, from Emerson Climate Technologies. In the industrial refrigeration show, Silvio Toro, will talk about "The cold chain in the meat industry".
During the first day, 12 conferences will be held in both Commercial and Industrial halls, with the participation of professionals from well-known manufacturers, installers and end users. The main topics to be discussed will be the refrigeration process, the use of C02 and ammonia, adequate refrigeration for the poultry and beer industries, cold rooms, as well as the differences between azeotropic and non-azeotropic mixtures, the comparison of new refrigerants and the theoretical/technical principles of IQF technology, in addition to the practices that should be avoided so as not to affect the quality of the product.
The second day, July 16, begins with the conference: "The importance of an adequate air pull in evaporators in the assembly of cavas" that will be dictated by Mauricio Baena, of Thermal Engineering, in the Commercial refrigeration room, and in the Industrial will be Javier Chávez, of Danfoss, with the theme: "Maintenance in industrial refrigeration equipment (Ammonia) in a bottling plant". There will also be talks on food refrigeration, energy losses, system failures, domestic refrigeration with hydrocarbons, among other topics.
RefriAméricas 2010 will be held in Bogotá, Colombia, at the Compensar Convention Center, from July 15 to 16.
