Onset announced its HOBO MX1101, an information logger that measures and transmits temperature and humidity wirelessly to mobile devices using Bluetooth technology.
The device is self-contained and works with Onset's free app, the HOBOmobile, which serves for setting up and handling information, which allows users to access with a coverage range of more than 100 ft, at any time from an iOS device.
Unlike USB logging devices that require to be configured and downloaded while connected to a computer, the HOBO MX1101 communicates instantly and does not require dedicated equipment beyond an iOS device for configuration and reading information.
