PFT series flow sensors with hot faucet are used to monitor liquid flow rates in pipes from 1 1/2 to 40" (40-1,016 mm). These units feature a single-sized sensor and are available in brass or 316 stainless steel body.
Output options include pulse models, which offer a square wave output signal with frequency proportional to flow velocity and 4-20 mA models have a linear velocity output with 4 mA equal to 0 ft/s and 20 mA equal to 25 ft/s.
In addition, these devices possess a Hot Tap option for hot water, and with the optional isolation valve accessory, you can install and remove the flow sensor on operating systems without system downtime.
