Electronic pressure-independent valves (ePIVs) maximize the energy savings of variable flow pumping systems, while offering true flow measurement to the energy valve that optimizes, documents and tests the performance of the water battery.
With pressure-independent control technology, only a single valve is required to maintain proper flow through each circuit. Each valve arrives from the factory preset for each circuit and can be changed in the field, so no additional balancing is required.
The entire ePIV range will now also have an option for a Modbus or BACnet actuator. The ePIV and Energy Valve ANSI 250 models will transition to ball valve technology for more compact assembly.
Pressure-independent valves are used to regulate flow through air handlers, heating and cooling coils, fan coil units, unit fans, and VAV reheating coils.
