Bitzer's GSD8 scroll compressors are designed and optimized for R410A, an efficient and eco-friendly option for heat pump, chiller and AC applications.
These silent equipment are usually used in tandem or trios to take advantage of capacity control and adapt appropriately to load changes.
Compressors are available in the following capacities: 15, 20, 25, 32, 35 and 40 tons; and available with weldable or rotalock connections in various voltages.
There are two versions: Boreal and Orbit. The Orbit is for applications with air condensation and the Boreal for applications with water condensation or low condensation temperature.
They use PVE oil which is less hygroscopic than POE. The GSD8 scrolls have a low oil carry to the system, ideal for use in plate exchangers.
