Patented flexible coupling
The 177 QuickVic Flexible Coupling is an extension of Victaulic's patented product line with "ready-to-install" technology. The Style 177 coupling is easy to install. There is no need to disassemble bolts, nuts, packaging and boxes, making installation easier, faster and safer than in standard welded, threaded or groove couplings. It is equipped with metal-to-metal contact, which allows to visually confirm the proper installation. It offers high performance EHP gaskets for optimal performance of -30ºF/-34ºC to 250ºF/121ºC. The "EHP" packaging has a geometric shape optimized for unprecedented performance under pressure, heat, assembly, tension and relaxation. This new coupling is suitable for applications in service pipes, process pipes and mining and withstands pressures up to 1000psi/6900kPa. It is offered in sizes of 2"/50 mm, 2 1/2"/65 mm, 3"/80 mm, 4"/100 mm, and 6"/150 mm.
