The innovative Vector 8611MT multi-temperature trailer cooling unit. Designed for longitudinally divided trailers with a central dividing wall creates two refrigerated compartments without the need for a remote evaporator.
Notably, the all-electric architecture of the Vector platform allows the Vector 8611MT unit to independently manage both zones more simply and efficiently than competitive mechanically interconnected dual discharge systems.
The Vector 8611MT unit has independent air control, optimizing airflow and pulldown in both zones. If heating is required, the unit offers constant electric heating, rather than hot gas heating, which reduces system complexity and allows the unit to turn off the compressor and other cooling components during heating, resulting in fuel savings.
The unit delivers 55,000 BTU of cooling per hour at a set point of 35 degrees Fahrenheit and excels at sub-zero temperatures. It also complements Carrier Transicold's traditional multi-temperature cooling unit, the Vector 8600MT, which offers customers multi-temperature configuration options.
