Explorer WSA air-cooled chillers feature a capacity of between 370 and 1260 kW, with a FreeCooling circuit comprising copper and aluminum heat exchangers, while two two-way valves operated by the Stulz SEC.blue controller regulate the flow of cooled water through the coil.
The operating costs of this equipment can be reduced by using these valves because of the comparatively low pressure drops in the cooled water circuit. In addition, operating times and compressor utilization are minimized with the FreeCooling circuit.
It has features such as a soft start of the compressor for lower consumption, automatic transfer switch without neutral with automatic or manual transmission, energy meter to show consumption, corrosion protection in harsh environments and protective coil grids for protection against heavy pollution and vandalism.
