The HXE centrifugal chiller with water-cooled magnetic bearing is designed with an oil-free system, eliminating contamination in the coolant and on heat transfer surfaces to provide exceptional operational efficiency.
This Inverter-type equipment also integrates VFD technology by reducing the starting current and extending the life of the motor, allowing the compressor to discharge smoothly from a maximum to a minimum load for superior partial load performance in comfort cooling applications.
An additional flash tank economizer contributes to improved efficiency by operating the two-stage compression system, achieving an efficiency greater than 6.8kW / kW (0.52kW / ton) and IPLV greater than 12.1kW / kW (0.29kW / ton), obtaining between 100-800 tons of cooling.
It is AHRI certified and uses HFC-134a refrigerant, with no ozone depletion potential (ODP).
