The York YZ magnetic bearing centrifugal chiller arrives optimized for high performance with the new refrigerant R-1233zd (E) that has a low global warming potential (GWP) of 1.
This equipment uses an advanced integral technology of variable speed drives and magnetic bearings with which a single mobile system suspended in a magnetic field is obtained, which does not require lubrication.
This technology uses 80% fewer moving parts than traditional transmission systems lubricated with oil or coolant and allows annual energy savings of up to 35% compared to traditional chillers.
In addition, it operates under condenser incoming water temperature conditions as low as 4.5°C (40°F), achieving the best performance under any operating condition and the widest operating range in the industry.
