Solstice N41 (provisionally named R-466A) is a non-flammable refrigerant with the lowest global warming potential (GWP) on the market, designed for stationary air conditioning systems.
This product will be the replacement refrigerant for non-flammable R-410A, with a 65% lower GWP, joining the Solstice line, developed to accelerate the transition from high GWP refrigerants. It is expected to be available on the market in 2019.
N41 is an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly refrigerant, with a lower transfer cost than that required for conversion to a flammable refrigerant.
Previous tests showed that migrating to this product only requires minimal equipment changes, without the need for additional training for installation and repair technicians.
