Steve Jobs hopes authorities will accept his proposal to build a second company campus to use as offices in California's Cupertino district, and plans to build a circular building with a huge green lung in the middle, housing 13,000 employees.
The hired designer Norman Foster was in charge of demonstrating the progress of the designs on a land of almost 61 hectares, 80% of the facilities will be green, the entire building will be surrounded by a forest and will be fed autonomously using its own gas station and will use the electricity grid only when necessary.
