The Provincial Council of Huelva, through the Renewable Energy Area, has held a Seminar on Renewable Energies for Training Centers in which technicians and students from these centers have participated --employment workshops, universities, workshop schools, associations-- and municipal technicians from the provinces of Huelva, Seville and Badajoz.
As reported by the provincial entity in a note, on this day, in which about 120 people have participated and which has been developed in the School Farm of the provincial institution, the results obtained in three projects that are currently being executed by the Renewable Energy Area of the Diputación de Huelva have been analyzed: Retaler, Wico and Rural-Res.
Thus, technicians from the Provincial Council and the Andalusian Energy Agency have explained the main contents of these projects, focused on issues such as the potential of mini wind and mini hydraulic technologies --this is the case of Retaler--, training in good practices, didactic unit and feasibility studies or energy potential --developed by the Rural-Res project--, or the guide of guidelines of the WICO project, framed in the Interreg IV initiative and which aims to promote mini-wind installations in coastal areas.
Within the seminar, a visit was made to the collection point and the future biomass boiler that are being built in the facilities of the School Farm. This initiative is included in the Retaler project and will allow self-sufficiency for hot water and heating for these facilities, in which many of the students who participate in the training cycles offered at the School Farm reside practically throughout the year.
As explained by the director of the Provincial Energy Agency, Marta Ruiz, who has been in charge of inaugurating the Seminar, these projects try to enhance the small power renewable energy facilities near the consumption centers, since this strengthens the electricity networks and achieves a more efficient and natural production, by reducing energy transport.
Ruiz also highlighted the good response that all the training actions included in these projects and related to renewable energies have had, something that, in his opinion, shows that many people consider this field of work as a new labor alternative. (EUROPA PRESS)
