A group of 90 students of Vocational Training for Employment (FPE) courses of renewable energy specialties taught in the province of Jaén has complemented their training at the International Energy and Environment Fair 'Genera 2011', which has been developed in Madrid this May.
The delegate of Employment, Irene Sabalete, has highlighted through a statement the important complement that supposes for the students the attendance to this appointment, which is consolidated as one of the most important fairs of the Spanish energy field and an obligatory reference in the international field.
This is the fourteenth edition of 'Genera', a crucial meeting and business point in renewable energies and energy efficiency in Spain, a framework in which the students of the province of Jaén have been able to know the avant-garde advances in energy efficiency and environmental protection. At the same time, it will allow to expand its training, mainly in the modules of photovoltaic energy, solar thermal biomass and mini-plants.
The delegate has detailed that the students from Jaén who have moved to Madrid come from five FPE courses. Four of them are Renewable Energy Systems Technician and are taught by Agener, Energy Management Agency of the Province of Jaén; the company Nuria Cocera Zafra, from Jaén; the University of Jaén; and the firm Saratech Eficiencia Energética S.L., from Mengíbar). The fifth course is Assembly and maintenance of photovoltaic solar installations and is taught by the Popular Municipal University of Jaén.
Sabalete has insisted on the broad job expectations of these courses on renewable energies, one of the emerging sectors, with real options for expansion in the local labor market. In this sense, the delegate recalled that this year a total of 480 students will be trained in the province in this area of renewable energies in 32 courses in which the Board invests a total of 1,271,760 euros.
