From March 2 to 4, 2011, the Tourism & Events Going Green Conference & EXPO will be held for the first time at the Banamex Center in Mexico City.
This ecological event is the largest of its kind in Latin America and its purpose is to publicize the offer of green products and services for the tourism and hospitality business sector, and the organization of sustainable events.
Within the framework of the ecological event , an exhibition center will be held and also a series of conferences and certifications for those who need to be certified in LEED, the most used certification worldwide for sustainable constructions.

As for the LEED certification, three courses will be offered: LEED for Existing Buildings Operation and Maintenance, CONCEPTS AND FUNDAMENTALS of Green Buildings and Preparation for the LEED GA exam and AP NC preparatory course to be able to present the LEED GA and LEED AP exam. These courses have an additional cost to the lecture series, but they are still courses that are rarely taught in Mexico and the price is quite reasonable.
