Entrepreneurs from the Chinese region of Zaozhuang holds meetings with companies from Castilla y León with the Photovoltaic Solar Energy Cluster for the exchange of knowledge in the construction, engineering and renewable energy sector.
Among the objectives of the Chinese delegation are to promote exchange with associations and research centers in the field of sustainable construction that integrates renewable energies and new materials in the construction process, as well as the search for joint business opportunities, according to Europa Press sources from the Ministry of Economy and Employment.
The program of the Delegation of Zaozhuang has included a visit to the Boecillo Technology Park and the Cartif Technology Center as well as the facilities of the Pevafersa company in Zamora. In addition, there have been meetings with businessmen and representatives of the Photovoltaic Solar Energy Cluster of Castilla y León, such as Onyx Solar or Grupo Unipolar and companies in the engineering and civil works sector such as Tecopy, Incosa and Inzamac, as well as the University of Valladolid.
The Photovoltaic Solar Energy Cluster of Castilla y León was born in April 2010 with the aim of dynamizing and promoting this sector in the Region, promoting innovation as a fundamental element of its development, in order to achieve the constitution of a highly competitive sector, both nationally and internationally. It is about achieving a strong business fabric that can compete in all types of markets.
INTERNATIONALIZATION
Other purposes are to promote training and research activities and achieve the full internationalization of the sector, taking advantage of opportunities in projects with other clusters at the national and international level, according to the same sources.
It is precisely within the framework of the internationalization strategy that this visit is framed. The cluster also seeks to promote the use of renewable energies and respect for the environment as well as to disseminate greater knowledge of renewable energies and transmit to society an image of good business practices.
The Photovoltaic Solar Energy Cluster of Castilla y León brings together companies belonging to the photovoltaic solar sector (manufacturers, installers, suppliers), entities from the world of science (research groups and centers, technology centers, and universities), technology transfer platforms, other agents such as engineering or service companies and has the support and impulse of the Regional Administration of the Junta de Castilla y León through the General Directorate of Industry, the ADE, the Regional Energy Agency and the University Foundation.
Its strategy is based on the integration of knowledge and new technology applied to photovoltaic solar energy and the development of common policies so that companies can consolidate their strategic positioning by improving their competitiveness and international visibility and insertion in a market of high added value.
