Today, November 29, I had the opportunity to attend the Climate Change Village, which takes place within the framework of COP16 in Cancun, Mexico.
In this enclosure that is located between the entrance of the city of Cancun at kilometer 7.5 of the Cancun-Chetumal Highway, next to the go-karts.
It is like a kind of typical Mexican town or village, with food parea, animated with traditional Mexican music, then there is the pavilion of "La Neta del Planeta" made by Papalote Museo del Niño, with many interactive activities and information to know about the environment, at the end of this pavilion is a model of ecological house, which I will tell you about later.
Within the Villa de Cambip Climático there is also a great forum in which there will be presentations and concerts during the duration of COP16, check the calendar of events here.
At the end of the venue is the exhibitor area, which includes dozens of companies, products, services, associations and ecological, sustainable, technology and renewable energy initiatives.
We invite you to visit the Climate Change Village and do not forget to visit the Special Report of A Green Blog at COP16 where we will be bringing you a lot of information about everything that happens at the summit and in the villa, meanwhile here I leave a photo gallery of what we could see today.
