CEOE-Cepyme has scheduled a course for renewable energy technicians to be taught in the near future in Santander. Of 380 hours of duration, the course is intended in principle for 12 people, mainly workers of SMEs, non-SMEs and self-employed.
Among the objectives of this initiative are to explain the key aspects of both thermal and photovoltaic solar systems, how these facilities work, their applications, the different types of installations.
It is also intended to identify the main components of a wind turbine, how they work and what are the systems used to control its power output, as well as to publicize what a wind farm is and what are the main parts that constitute it.
According to the program of the course, collected by Europa Press, the CEOE-Cepyme course will address aspects such as solar energy, the solar collector and its installation, the use of solar energy, components of a solar thermal installation, and applications of solar thermal energy.
It will also delve into photovoltaic solar energy, maintenance of an autonomous photovoltaic installation, photovoltaic solar pumping, and photovoltaic installations connected to the grid.
On the other hand, wind energy, grid-connected wind installations, high-power wind turbines, and isolated wind installations will be addressed.
The course will also include practical contents, such as radiant intensity and irradiation calculations, the parts of the flat plate solar collector, the calculation of forces on collector anchors, the operation of the differential thermostat, projects of a solar thermal installation, calculation of the necessary collector surface, components of a solar thermal installation, projects of photovoltaic solar installations, among other aspects.
