In recent months, Toyota has announced a number of new hybrids, one of which will be the first expansion of its hugely popular Prius, the Prius minivan. The images were posted on an Italian car site, apparently this version is larger and more spacious.
The Verso Prius minivan is said to debut at the Detroit Auto Show, and will use the Prius hybrid HSD platform. It will have a total power of 138 horsepower.
In previous reports it has been said, that it will count seats for seven passengers in three rows and will be the first hybrid van to reach the market.
No further details or exact production dates are known.
