The Society for the Regional Development of Cantabria (Sodercan) has announced grants to promote industrial R & D + i in renewable energies. The budget per project is from 200,000 to 750,000 euros and the maximum aid is up to 45 percent (+10% if you are an SME).
The application period will remain open until November 30 and the execution of these actions will not exceed 24 months, as established by the call, consulted by Europa Press.
The objective of this call is to support industrial R&D&I projects carried out under the modality "in cooperation" in the field of renewable energies and emerging technologies.
Companies based in Cantabria that, constituted in a consortium, jointly tackle an industrial R&D&I project may be beneficiaries of these grants. The consortia must be constituted by at least two unrelated companies, one of them SMEs and carry out in the region of Cantabria the activities likely to obtain aid through this call.
Industrial research projects, aimed at planned research aimed at the acquisition of new knowledge and the development of new technologies, and technical feasibility studies prior to industrial research activities, shall be eligible for support.
Among the projects framed in renewable energies and emerging technologies are research and technological development for the evaluation and prediction of renewable energy resources; research and technological development in onshore wind renewable energy; in marine renewable energy; or in bioenergy.
Research and technological development for the production, storage, distribution and use of energy are also contemplated; for the use of hydrogen for energy purposes; research and technological development of fuel cells of different types and for different applications, as well as the research and development of fuels other than hydrogen for fuel cell power.
Finally, research and technological development in other areas of renewable energy that are of interest for the industrial diversification strategy of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria is contemplated. (EUROPA PRESS)
