Qatar. Qatar's Supreme Committee for Development and Legacy unveiled the novel cooling system it plans to use in stadiums that are preparing for the World Cup to be held in that country in 2022, although the venue is still unconfirmed.
The organizers assure that the system will have the capacity to keep the fields of the sports venues at a temperature of between 24 ° and 26 ° Celsius, and the grandstands between 26 ° and 28 ° Celsius. The stadiums that would have this design are Al Bayt, Lusail, Al Wakrah, Khalifa, Al Rayyan, Qatar Foundation and a couple more unnamed.
The Supreme Committee assured that this technology would also be adapted to the sports scenarios of the Olympic Games to which Qatar will apply for the years of 2024, 2028 or 2032.
