International. A new technology in a residential air conditioning unit allows to control allergies due to a filtering system (which is composed of five filters), which manages to clean the air, sterilize particles and capatr viruses, dust and allergens.
In information revealed by Europa Press, the equipment manufactured by LG Electronics has a "Plasmaster Ionizer" filter that manages to sterilize 90% of the particles in the air, another filter "Plasmaster Self-cleaning" that prevents the birth of mold, two more filters (3M) that eliminate harmful and microscopic elements and a filter responsible for capturing dust particles.
These systems managed to be certified by international organizations such as the Retroscreen Virology Institute of the United Kingdom, or the Seoul National University of South Korea.
The allergist and assistant doctor of the Jiménez Díaz Foundation in Madrid, Mónica Ruiz, commented that "in the air there are many microscopic and large particles and these filters are able to filter them all. Therefore, they are a good option to take into account when acquiring an air conditioning equipment because they improve air quality and the health of users."
