Mexico. A new air conditioning technology is being marketed in the Aztec country and is characterized by lowering the temperature from 50°C to 16°C without refrigerant and also offers an energy use saving of 90%, according to its manufacturers.
The product known as Hipercooler has photovoltaic solar panels and does not use compressors, only a fan with low energy consumption. With the energy supplied by four solar panels you have the possibility of air conditioning a room of a considerable size.
The system uses water as a coolant and expels it to the outside without adding moisture to the property, it also produces cold by imitating the biological process of water evaporation but without excess use of liquid and without generating the uncomfortable sensation it produces.
The air sucked from the outside is divided into 2 flows: the working air passes through the humid channel and is saturated with water, cooling the matrix by evaporation, and immediately this air is expelled to the outside. The other flow that is introduced into the building, the service air, passes through the dry channel in the matrix cooling but without adding moisture to it. Since there is no communication between the two air circuits, there is no risk of bacteria or mold.
