Peru. During this week, representatives of the Centro Nacional de Energías Renovables de España (Cener) and the Supervisory Body for Investment in Energy and Mining of Peru (Osinergmin) will meet in Lima to analyze possible ways of collaboration and development of projects related to renewable energies.
Cener will collaborate as a technical advisor to assess projects of energy installations that will go out to tender in Peru in the near future. In addition, they will also work together to promote distributed generation facilities in isolated areas of the country, in some cases linking renewable energies and pumping systems.
The general director of Cener, José Javier Armendáriz, and Javier San Miguel, from the Business Development department, will be talking with the Minister of Environment, Manuel Pulgar, and the Deputy Minister of Energy, Luis Ortigas, who are leading the meeting.
The second part of the agenda includes a trip to the region of Piura, where they will hold meetings with the regional president, Javier Atkins, and the rector of the University of Piura, Antonio Abruña, among others, and where they will participate in a convention of regions of northern Peru. Finally back in Lima they will attend an International Conference that will analyze the possibilities of collaboration between the countries that are part of the Andean Community (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru) and Europe.
