Carrier Corp., a world leader in HVAC, launches its new Weathermaker line of Roof Top equipment that meets international standards for sustainable construction, LEED & ASHRAE.
Carrier is the first manufacturer to introduce in Argentina equipment of this type that meets the aforementioned standards of environmental care.
They are available in nominal capacities of 10 and 12 tons of cooling, and in cold only and cold heat models.
The equipment works with Puron© refrigerant gas (R410a), which does not cause damage to the ozone layer and has been selected in the most developed markets along with the refrigerant R134a as the best option in efficiency and ecology.
The use of this equipment and compliance with sustainable building standards such as LEED® allows investors and owners to reduce the impact on the environment and increase the return on their investment. With zero or very small increases in the cost of construction, applying these standards, buildings increase their resale value, their rental value and reduce their operating costs at the same time.
Carrier in Argentina is a gold level founding member of the Green Building Council (www.usgbc.org)
