The remarks were made on the sidelines of a special conference on climate change, a call by Ban Ki-moon that aims to advance the global agenda, during the Climate Change Conference to be held in Bali from December 3 to 14."The UN climate process is the appropriate forum to negotiate a global plan," Ban Ki-moon told the assembled heads of state and government. Despite the general agreement on the issue, the United States remains outside the measures that seek to lower emissions of pollutants, since such measures would do damage to the growth of the US economy.
