International. The head of the Belimo Group's division in the Americas and member of the executive committee, James Furlong, will retire effective February 28, 2026.
According to the company, the executive's retirement marks the conclusion of a decade of exemplary leadership and significant contributions to the Belimo Group.
"Since taking office on March 1, 2016, James Furlong has played a pivotal role in driving Belimo's growth and success in the Americas. Likewise, his leadership has been instrumental in achieving key milestones that have strengthened the region's contribution to the Group's profitability strategy. With his extensive industry experience and strategic vision, Mr. Furlong has been a driving force in establishing Belimo as a market leader and technologies in the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and building automation sector," said Belimo Group spokespersons.
To ensure continuity and leverage his extensive experience, James Furlong will continue to support Belimo as a senior advisor after his retirement. In this capacity, he will guide the group's strategic initiative for data centers. Their continued involvement underscores the organization's long-term commitment to success.

The recruitment process for Mr. Furlong's successor as head of the group's Americas division and member of the executive committee has already begun and both internal and external candidates will be considered.
