Latin America. For its 20th anniversary, Refriaméricas Miami has prepared a high-level academic agenda for the congress to be held on July 24 and 25 at the Miami Airport Convention Center, with the novelty that this year there will be a day of talks in English and another day of talks in Spanish, and at a value of only USD 10 for all participants.
The first day of conferences, both for the HVAC show and for the Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration show, will be dedicated to talks in Spanish, where expert consultants will address topics focused on decarbonization, the main theme of this year's event, with the participation of professionals such as Gabriel Jiménez, CEO of HVAC Consulting – Colombia; Darío Ibargüengoitia, from Ambiente Regenerativo Integral – Mexico; Alfredo Sotolongo, President of Protec, Inc., and Ernesto Porras, Consultant – Colombia.

For the refrigeration area, the conferences will focus on the application of Artificial Intelligence, R290 in chillers, sustainability in refrigeration systems, energy saving, among other topics, and will be attended by the renowned engineers, Rafael Rau, Consultant - Costa Rica; Giovanni Barletta, President of ACAIRE; Gildardo Yáñez, from FB Refrigeration – Mexico; Fabio Pettená, from Full Gauge Controls – Brazil.
Lectures in English
For the second day of conferences, which will be taught in English, we will have important distinguished speakers from ASHRAE for the HVAC Hall, such as Ginger Scoggins, PE, CEM, CxA, ASHRAE Distinguished Lecture; John Constantinide, P.E., C.E.M., LEED AP® BD+C, F.SAME - ASHRAE Region XII; as well as with the participation of Jane Sidebottom, Board Member Women in HVACR, and Guitze Messina, from HARDI LATAM.
In the Refrigeration Hall there will also be great speakers representing IIAR, such as Yesenia Rector, Director IIAR – United States, and Tony Lundell, CIRO, PMP - Senior Director of Standards and Safety - IIAR – United States.
