International. Danfoss and Google have just announced that they will work together to leverage their advances in Artificial Intelligence and promote energy-efficient solutions for data centers.
Through the agreement, the Danish multinational group will use Google Cloud's capabilities to optimize its customer experience, streamline internal processes, and improve productivity across the organization.
This can be done, for example, by using generic AI to collect and display information, automate knowledge, generate product descriptions, and create solutions with chatbots in e-commerce.
In addition, Danfoss is working with Google to implement sustainable cooling systems and design systems that use the excess heat produced by data centers.
For example, Google is installing Danfoss Turbocor compressors to improve energy efficiency and decarbonize heating and cooling systems.
Meanwhile, Danfoss Heat Reuse Modules make it possible for Google to capture and reuse the heat produced by data centers, providing a renewable energy source to supply heating on-site and to neighboring commercial and residential buildings, communities and industries that need heat for their processes.
"We want to revolutionize the way we build and decarbonize data centers together with our customers. When we partner across industries, as we have with Google, we accelerate this development towards building better and more sustainable data centers, using technologies available today", said Jürgen Fischer, President of Danfoss Climate Solutions.
Google's Vice President of Data Center Innovation, J.P. Clausen, said, "This is a great example of a partnership that uses each other's strengths and technology to optimize the customer experience, increase productivity, and achieve sustainability goals. We're excited to deliver AI innovation through Google Cloud, enabling companies like Danfoss to operate in new and smarter ways".
