International. This is HeatQuantum, a plug-and-play pump that installs in just one day and has been described by Advansor as "a game-changer for the substitution of fossil fuels in industry".
The HeatQuantum pump provides between 200 and 600 kw with a single unit and can be connected in parallel if higher capacity is needed. It operates with a coefficient of performance (COP) of up to 3.24 and is based on the natural refrigerant CO2, which is non-toxic, does not damage the ozone layer and has a global warming potential (GWP) of only 1.
This air-to-water CO2 heat pump has a water supply temperature of up to 85°C and the possibility of using existing pipes. For all these reasons, it is a suitable solution for space heating, sanitary water and processes during renovations.
"We have created a future-proof solution, which will help our customers meet their climate action goals. Going electric and gas-fired is essential and doing so now with the HeatQuantum is easier than ever. We just have to stop burning things to keep warm", said Kristian Breitenbauch, CEO of Advansor.
Energy Efficiency
This new solution has built-in defrost control and the ability to produce heat during defrost cycles.
"We developed the HeatQuantum with cold weather performance in mind and it works efficiently in temperatures as low as -20°C. The entire equipment has been built on a single chassis, including the evaporators and the machine unit, which makes it quick and easy to load and unload the heat pump with a crane," explained Kenneth Bank Madsen, chief technology officer of the manufacturing company.
