International. At the event, the companies Keyter, Intarcon and Genaq presented sustainable solutions for HVAC, commercial and industrial refrigeration and water generation.
The company Keyter exhibited a range of products characterized by high energy efficiency, use of natural refrigerants and the electrification of heat by replacing boilers with heat pumps. The business focus on these vectors is aligned with decarbonization goals.
During the fair, the company also presented its Ziran Pro series of air-to-water heat pumps, capable of producing water up to 75ºC, which was included in the Innovation Gallery. These pumps, optimised for the use of R290 Propane refrigerant, offer a reduced environmental impact (GWP=3) and high thermodynamic performance.
In addition, Keyter exhibited an air-to-water chiller with screw compressor, R1234ze refrigerant and total heat recovery module, with a length of more than 11 meters and a weight of more than 10 tons, as well as a rooftop with R454B refrigerant.
Refrigeration Solutions
For its part, the company Intarcon presented its developments for 2024, with a wide range of refrigeration solutions for various industries, including HORECA, supermarkets and logistics. Thus, visitors observed water-to-water units for commercial and industrial refrigeration applications with a reduced load of R290 and fully inverted compressors.
The Heat on Demand range, also recognized in the Innovation Gallery, offers a power range from 150 to 630 kW for high-temperature applications, 90 to 360 kW for medium temperature and 40 to 160 kW for low-temperature applications. These products take advantage of water condensation circuits, allowing synergies with other thermal processes.
Another of the ranges exhibited was Waterloo, with compact water-cooled roof units for medium and low temperature cooling. CR-VHD units have a minimum load of R290 and are hermetically sealed systems, designed for convenient refrigerated volumes.
In the area of R744 (CO2), Intarcon introduced ECO2, a rack of glycol-condensed subcritical CO2 compressors for low-temperature cooling. This innovation allows various compressor combinations to deliver a total refrigerant output of 30 to 520 kW.
In addition, the low-temperature ammonia direct expansion units (R717) were on display, completing the R717 range of solutions for industrial applications.
Water-from-air technology
Finally, the company Genaq showcased its advanced technology for generating water from air at the fair.
Replicating the natural process of rainfall, this technology condenses atmospheric moisture by cooling. In this way, their atmospheric water generators provide access to quality drinking water in a sustainable way, even in places without existing water sources.
