Latin America. On October 31st, this webinar will be held, during which Armstrong Fluid Technology will talk about its proposal for urban energy with a focus on heating plants.
District power systems are characterized by one or more central plants that produce hot water, steam, or cold water, which then flows through a network of insulated pipes to provide hot water, heating, or air conditioning to nearby buildings.
These systems serve a variety of end-use markets, including city centers (central business districts), college campuses, hospitals and healthcare facilities, airports, military bases, and industrial complexes.
By combining loads for multiple buildings, district energy systems create economies of scale that help reduce energy costs and enable the use of high-efficiency technologies.
